Ask Stephanie
![]() Larry asks:I’m on Lesson 2 and can’t seem to turn my left foot as far as yours. Then after turning to the right my left leg isn’t facing forward. I’d appreciate some feedback. ![]() Stephanie answers:Hi Larry, This step is the perfect example on the importance of shifting your weight to one side of the body. Make sure your right leg is still bent from the previous step and is supporting the body’s weight. Isolate and slowly turn your left hip first, then the thigh on down to the ankle and foot. This movement will begin to stretch the muscles and ligaments surrounding the leg’s joints. How many times have you moved this way? Maybe never, so it’ll take many times before you become more flexible. Once you turn your body to the right if your left leg is not facing forward just pause for a moment and move your leg into the correct position. ![]() Click on a topic to read past questions and comments from other Enlighteners: |
