Stephanie Rosenblatt
Welcome Enlighteners

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably seen the numerous articles reporting tai chi’s amazing health benefits*. Tai chi develops internal energy that increases physical and mental strength. The body moves with softness. The mind is focused yet relaxed, melding physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance. How many exercise programs can you begin at any age that will sustain a vibrant and healthy lifestyle? Not many.

Tai Chi for Enlighteners™ has been created with you in mind. Unlike other tai chi programs, it’s easy to learn. My instructions are clear and concise. I count each and every step, so you know exactly where to place your hands, arms, feet, legs and torso. We move in a small, circular radius allowing for gentle, yet effective joint movement. This is why you’ll be able to learn this unique form, no matter how old you are.

Tai Chi for Enlighteners™ is formatted as a complete, supportive, and interactive package. The DVDs, book and this website are designed to work together, enabling you to ask questions as you learn and learn as you ask questions. Just click on the ASK STEPHANIE tab above and I will respond to your questions and comments.

My program is more than a path to wellness... it’s a LIFESTYLE statement. While living in the British Virgin Islands, I had the pleasure of teaching Dr. Benjamin Spock, who was then eighty-seven. He was my first enlightener student. I realized the word "senior" is an off-the-cuff expression that doesn’t reveal the accrued wisdom and knowledge of our society's elders. This is why I refer to you as an enlightener. It's an uplifting description for those of us over fifty.

I was twenty-three when I began my tai chi journey with my teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Chow. I studied with them for over thirty years. Now in my late fifties, I’m appreciating the advantages this wonderful step-by-step form offers my body, mind, and spirit, as I age with grace.

I invite you to join me and as we celebrate our enlightened years with vigor, mental acuity and validation to face the emotional challenges of aging in today’s society.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
